At Kingstutor, we strive to ensure a high-quality learning experience. However, we understand that there may be instances where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted and our commitment to fair resolution processes.

1. General Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction date.

  • Refunds will only be issued under valid circumstances, as outlined in this policy
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method
  • All refund requests are subject to review and approval

2. Student Refund Eligibility

One-on-One and Group Classes

  • If a tutor cancels or fails to attend a scheduled session, the student is eligible for a full refund or rescheduling
  • If a student is dissatisfied with the quality of a session, they may request a refund within 24 hours of session completion
  • No refunds will be issued for missed sessions due to student absence unless prior notice was given at least 24 hours before the session

Subscription or Package Purchases

Refunds for subscription-based plans will only be considered if the request is made within 7 days of the initial purchase, provided that no sessions have been attended.

Partial refunds for unused sessions in a package may be granted at Kingstutor's discretion.

3. Tutor Payment Policy

  • Tutors are not eligible for refunds on platform fees or commission deductions
  • If a class is canceled by the tutor, the student may request a refund or reschedule the session, and the tutor will not receive payment
  • Tutors must adhere to Kingstutor's quality standards

Important: Repeated refund requests due to dissatisfaction may lead to account review or suspension.

4. Company & Corporate Accounts

Corporate clients may be eligible for partial refunds on bulk purchases if requested within 14 days of payment, provided that no sessions have been utilized.

Refunds for corporate clients will be processed on a case-by-case basis, depending on the agreed contractual terms.

5. Processing Time & Fees

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days.

  • Any transaction fees, bank charges, or applicable taxes will be deducted from the refund amount
  • If a refund request is denied, the user will receive a written explanation via email
  • Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider

6. Non-Refundable Scenarios

The following scenarios are not eligible for refunds:

  • Refund requests made after the specified time periods
  • Completed or attended sessions (unless quality issues are verified)
  • Technical issues on the user's end (e.g., poor internet connection) unless verified to be platform-related
  • Violation of Kingstutor's Terms & Conditions leading to account suspension
  • Change of mind without valid justification

7. How To Request A Refund

To request a refund, users must follow these steps:

  1. Submit a request via email to refunds@kingstutor.com
  2. Provide transaction details, session information, and a clear reason for the request
  3. Await a response from the Kingstutor support team within 3-5 business days.
  4. If approved, follow any additional instructions provided by our support team

Note: Incomplete refund requests may experience delays in processing. Please ensure all required information is provided.

8. Policy Updates & Modifications

Kingstutor reserves the right to modify this refund policy at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued platform use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy terms.
