Kingstutor provides an online platform that connects students with tutors for live tutoring sessions, serving individuals, companies, and educational professionals.

1. User Accounts & Eligibility

Students & Visitors

  • Must be 18+ or have parental consent
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Maintain account security and confidentiality

Tutors

  • Valid credentials required
  • Subject to verification process
  • 20% platform commission applies
  • Must meet quality standards

Companies

  • Employee training programs
  • Admin account management
  • Upfront or contracted payments

2. Payment & Commission Structure

Commission Details

Kingstutor deducts a 20% commission from every tutoring session before payment disbursement to tutors.

Tutors receive the advertised class price minus the 20% platform fee.

Tax Responsibilities

Users are responsible for applicable taxes and transaction fees in their country.

Tutors must comply with tax regulations and declare earnings appropriately.

3. Code of Conduct

All users and tutors must engage respectfully and professionally. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:

  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind
  • Unprofessional conduct during sessions
  • Violation of platform policies

Important: Policy violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

Tutor Content: Tutors retain ownership of their original materials but grant Kingstutor a non-exclusive license to display content for educational purposes on the platform.

User Restrictions: Users may not redistribute, modify, or misuse any platform content without proper authorization.

5. Data Privacy & Security

Your data is collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect user information.

Note: While we strive for maximum security, users acknowledge the inherent risks of online data transmission and accept these risks when using our platform.

6. Limitation Of Liability

  • Kingstutor is not liable for direct or indirect damages from platform use
  • We do not guarantee tutor availability or specific learning outcomes
  • Disputes between tutors and students follow our established resolution process

7. Terms Updates & Modifications

Kingstutor reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions as needed. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notifications. Continued platform use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Account Termination

  • Accounts violating terms may be suspended or terminated
  • Users can request account deletion through customer support
  • Refund policies apply to terminated accounts per our refund guidelines

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Cameroon. Disputes will be resolved through the following process:

  1. Initial mediation attempt
  2. Arbitration if mediation fails
  3. Legal proceedings per applicable laws
